A library is the heart and mind of a great university, the repository of information and the source of wisdom. The new Case Library and Geyer Center for Information Technology is more than a warehouse of texts and a place for quiet study. It stands as the dynamic intellectual center of the campus, where new knowledge is created every day.

Completion of the $57.5 million Case-Geyer has been a key element in achieving our vision as the new model for liberal arts education.

The facility, inaugurated in fall 2007, has been the largest capital project in our history. It has integrated the traditional resources of the academic library with leading-edge information technology in every aspect of its design.

As a dynamic learning commons, the library symbolizes Colgate's commitment to our academic core and the full range of tools and techniques required for accessing and acquiring knowledge in the modern world.
