Since the sound of WRCU first drifted across campus, the world has flattened and mass communication has become a means of developing — or suppressing — vital cross-cultural understanding. What began as an extra-curricular activity with vocational possibilities has transformed into a platform for training ethical, engaged 21st century leaders.

Recognizing this fact, the university has joined with alumni, parents, and friends to provide WRCU with a facility that matches both the station’s historical contributions to campus life and its potential as a teaching tool for some of America’s brightest undergraduates.
