Welcoming new ideas, expanding Colgate’s reputation

The Society of Families is proud to announce that His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet will deliver the second Global Leaders Lecture on April 22, 2008. For the past three years, the Parents’ and Grandparents’ Fund has concentrated its resources on creating the new Global Leaders Lecture Series. Though fundraising continues, we were able to hold the inaugural lecture on Colgate Day, April 13, 2007, with Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner, award-winning authors of Freakanomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything. In the process, we started a new chapter in the intellectual life of this campus.
