On her work with community blood drives: Since the first one in September 2002, we’ve held 44 drives and collected approximately 3,000 pints of blood. My work now involves getting people signed up, and working the registration desk the day of the drive. Everybody jokes that I know more people in Hamilton by blood type than by name!
