On being three-time champion of the campus tailgate barbecue competition: This year, I won with some scalloped clams, but my signature dish is my ribs — it’s a secret marinade that I can’t share and traditional Goya seasonings. Cooking has kept my family together through the hardest of times, so being able to do that for other people is fun.
