How do I log in or activate my account?
Click the link at the top left corner of the page where it says “Sign in”. Enter your username and password where indicated. First time users select "First Time Login" to activate your account. If you need help, please contact Alumni Relations at: alumni@colgate.edu. More detailed instructions can be found on the login help page.
I forgot my username or password
On the login page, there are links underneath the login form that give you instructions on how to recover your username or password. In both cases, you will enter the e-mail address you used when registering your account, and an email will be sent to you with either your username or a link to reset your password.
When I try to reset my username and/or password, I'm told my e-mail address can't be found
This means that the system has a different e-mail address associated with your account - perhaps you are using a different e-mail address and did not update your account information.
How do I access the Alumni Directory?
There are links to the directory in the gray bar at the top of the page and on the left hand navigation section, or type in www.colgateconnect.org/alumnidirectory. You must be logged in to view the directory.
Where can I find Class Notes?
Class notes are posted on the respective class pages. To look up your class page, or the page of another class, go to the Clubs, Classes, and Groups page or type in www.colgateconnect.org/ followed by the year (for example, the address for the Class of 1985 page is www.colgateconnect.org/1985).
How do I register for Reunion?
The Reunion 2011 registration form will be posted February 1, 201. Until then, check out the Reunion page for more information.
How do I update my account information?
Click the "Edit My Account" link in the left-hand navigation section. Use the different tabs at the top of the page to update different sections of your account. Make sure to save your changes.
How do I set up an alumni e-mail forwarding account?
In the Edit My Account page, click the top tab called "E-mail Forwarding." Here you are able to set up an e-mail address (yourname@colgatealumni.org) that you can give out to friends and family. However, this is not a "real" e-mail address with an inbox: it is a redirect to an existing e-mail you already have. Your @colgateconnect.org address can forward to any existing e-mail address, so if you ever get a new e-mail address, update your information on the E-mail Forwarding page so you can continue to get your messages.
Can I change my club affiliation?
Your club affiliation is set automatically based on the address you provide in your account information. To change your affiliation, update your account mailing address on the Edit My Account page or you can send your updated address information to alumnirecords@colgate.edu.
