Greg Ames is the author of Buffalo Lockjaw, winner of the Book of the Year Award from the New Atlantic Independent Booksellers Association. His work has appeared in The Best American Nonrequired Reading, McSweeney’s, The Southern Review, Open City, and The Sun. He has taught fiction at Brooklyn College and at Binghamton University and is now an assistant professor of English at Colgate University.
